Warranty Information for High School Rings
Balfour High School Class Rings* manufactured after 1975, are covered by Balfour’s Exclusive Limited Lifetime Warranty. Balfour will make every effort to repair/replace all products manufactured with the Balfour trademark. If for any reason we are unable to do so because tooling is obsolete and no longer available, proper notification will be given to the customer and a current style will be offered. If the sentimental value is a concern, we will return any ring that the customer does not wish to replace. Thereafter, a similar current style will be provided. From time to time rings are returned that exhibit wear and tear that exceeds normal levels. In these rare situations, the returned ring will not be repaired. Instead, we will contact you to ask for permission to re-manufacture the ring in a current style for a nominal remake fee. If you are unsure whether to re-manufacture the ring when we contact you, we can offer to hold the ring for up to 45 days. The re-manufacturing process will destroy the old ring, so we are offering this service as a courtesy in the interest of supporting your decision. The warranty department will maintain high sensitivity to each customer inquiry and take any and all reasonable steps necessary to assure 100% satisfaction. All repairs will ship USPS unless you choose to upgrade your item to Federal Express Second Day or Overnight. Any ring being shipped to a post office box will be shipped via registered mail. All addresses should include the recipient’s phone number.

Your Balfour class ring is hand-crafted to meet your complete satisfaction. Only the finest materials have been used to ensure years of enjoyment. The following warranty services will be performed without charge for the original owner of the Balfour class ring:
- Repair defects in workmanship or materials.
- If repairs cannot be made due to defects in workmanship and materials, the product will be replaced at Balfour’s discretion. If the product is no longer available, it will be replaced with a product of similar design and comparable value.
- Resize class ring (all class rings can be resized up to two sizes).
- Clean and polish your class ring.
- Genuine stones and diamonds are not covered by this warranty.
Should your year of graduation or your school change before your graduation, Balfour will remake your class ring one time at no charge or replace it with a class ring of a similar design and comparable value. No other change from the original order is permitted under the warranty. If the class ring is damaged or worn beyond repair or resizing, it may be exchanged for a class ring of current design and comparable value at Balfour’s current remake charge. Damages resulting from improper handling or lack of care are not covered by this warranty. This warranty is void if work is performed on your class ring by someone other than Balfour. Your Balfour High School 10K, 14K, or 18K white, yellow or rose gold ring, may be traded in for credit towards the purchase of a Balfour College graduation ring. The trade-in credit will be based on the prevailing gold price at the time of trade-in. This warranty effective June 1, 2007, gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. In the event, your class ring (or jewelry) needs warranty or non-warranty service, return your class ring insured with a letter of instruction to the address below. Warranty Information for College Graduation Rings

- Repair defects in workmanship or materials on new graduation rings at the time of original delivery.
- If repairs cannot be made due to defects in workmanship and materials, the product will be replaced at Balfour’s discretion.
- Resize your graduation ring (all rings can be resized up or down two sizes)
- Clean and polish your graduation ring
- Genuine stones and diamonds are not covered.
Should your year of graduation or degree change at the same school, a change to your graduation ring will be made at no charge (limited to one occurrence for year date and one occurrence for degree). A charge may apply for engraving changes where year date or degree is included. No other change from the original order is permitted under the warranty. This warranty is void if work is performed on your graduation ring by someone other than Balfour. If the ring is damaged or worn beyond your satisfaction, it may be exchanged for a graduation ring of current design at Balfour’s current remake charge. Damages resulting from improper handling, lack of care, or normal wear and tear are not covered by this warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. - Genuine stones and diamonds are not covered.
This warranty is void if work is performed on your Journey Wrap by someone other than Balfour. If the Journey Wrap is damaged or worn beyond your satisfaction, it may be exchanged for a Journey Wrap of current design at Balfour’s current remake charge.
